Week 6: My Silhouetted Cat

Above is a picture I took of my cat sitting in the sunlight that shines through the window of our back door.  I noticed all of the silhouettes that formed in the shadows and how the sunlight created a spotlight for her.  The frame in the window acted as a gobo and created a space for her.  For a moment, she was in her own space, enjoying the warmth and peace that the sunlight gave her.  This reminded me of the project that we just did in class where we do not always need color to create an effective picture.  She also tends to crave attention a lot of the time and this acted as her lime light.
