Week 6: Baby

This is my newest Nephew, Zeek, born just a couple weeks ago. Visually, I love this picture for the warm, soft orange hues. The colors enhance the natural soft warm feeling I get when seeing a sleeping baby. For me, the colors of the lighting reflect my emotion.
Purity is also associated with babies. Lighting and dressing Zeek in whites, perhaps with crisper boundaries and contrast, would create a very different feeling. Purity has connotations of being untouchable, unattainable, while in this picture Zeek sinks deep into the heart.
