Was working when I got assigned to a Winter Formal for a High School their theme was Willy Wonka. It was so beautiful, the arcade games around the room, the endless candy buffet, and WATER. LOL it was funny since my boss was like, "These poor bitches only want water", he was sooo wrong it costed like $100,000 the ticket was for $80 and there were 1250 people there. I love the way they used LED lights as a way to make it look crazy and when the event started they had Lekos rotating around the dancefloor. It made feel like, "DAMN UCI Why can't we make something like this" LOL Hire the drama department to do the lights. Overall I enjoyed the mix of soft and harsh color cues that were presented during the dance. Together with the music it made working on a Saturday worth it.
Nice image, wonders what money can do :) - I wonder what company did the lighting - this is an entire area of the lighting industry to work in - many of my friends light large events regularly - I am glad you new appreciation for lighting made a Saturday work day better :)
